Break(fast) x2

Here a super quick post on two fast/healthy/easy breakfast ideas for those of you that aren’t about dat egg life.

First up:

A better source of carbs than ya Frosties… Flavoured yogurt, granola and fruit.

You can literally whack them all in a bowl and enjoy!

Top Tip: Make sure to check the nutritional values of your yogurt as 0% fat doesn’t necessarily make something a better option! Reason being, if it’s low in fat it will be higher in something else such as carbs (sugar.)

Some good fats! Wholmeal bagel with crushed avocado, chilli and lemon juice.

Easy peasy. Select the ripest most pretentious avocado from your local upmarket supermarket (lol just kidding, got mine at tesco.) Slice around the stone, pop it out and scoop the soft insides into a bowl. Crush with a fork while adding chilli flakes/lemon juice to taste (I added a lil salt and black pepper too.)

Now spread that smushy goodness all over your bagel. Perfect!

I may have had both of these for breakfast this morning (don’t judge I’d just done 40  fasted mins of cardio on the stairmaster, brutal) and they were the perfect light but filling breakfasts!

With Love,

Naomi x

  1. Hey Naomi!

    These look delicious!

I’m loving your blog (followed!) but I would also like to invite you to submit a short piece to my own. I think your perspective and style of writing would be a perfect piece for my project.

It’d also be a great way to get your blog/writing out there.

Please feel free to email me (jennifer@youngandtwenty) with more questions, or take a look at the ‘BEING Young & Twenty’ page on my blog.

    I hope I’ll hear from you 🙂

    1. See I hate the texture of avocado so that’s why I mashed it up and spread it thinly. The chilli and lemon completely changes the taste so I’d give it a try!! I used to literally just eat weetabix or porridge! But thank you! Xxxx
