Lunch @ The Forth Hotel

Had a lovely (and super filling!) lunch today at The Forth Hotel with my BF, so here’s a quick little review for if you’d like to visit soon.

At the top of Pink Lane it’s the perfect location for hopping off the metro at Central or for walking to from the centre of town (we may have come straight from training chest… But shh!)

I’ve been before but only for drinks and my BF has been eyeing up the southern fried chicken all week so we decided to pop in for lunch today (we love a good ol’ day date.) It was nice and quiet but that didn’t deminish the atmosphere. With sweet fairy lights hung from the ceiling, hand painted pictures on the walls and chilled out music flowing into the little alcoves it was the perfect spot for our lil lunch date.

We decided on a cute little patchwork booth and looked at the menu. Obvs my BF knew why he was having already but I was spoilt for choice! After lots of cooing over the options (and lots of hangry stares from Ben…) I decided on a steak, pancetta and ale pie.

Ben ordered the food and it came within at least 9 mins, I swear, was so quick; (which was good coz we were both starving by this point!) it looked absolutely delightful when it came and I was more than ready to dig in (so much so I may have burnt my tongue… Oops!)

Pie and mash is one of my ultimate favourite comfort foods/homely meals and this one was no exception. Both meals were more than delicious and I would gladly go back again!

Take a look at their Menu, give them a try and let me know what you think!

With Love,

Naomi x
